Click on an item you are interested in purchasing. You will see a box where you will enter the amount of YEM you wish to bid, as well as some text, which will instruct you as to the minimum bid at this time. Enter the amount you wish to bid and click the blue bar “Place bid”. You will then be asked to check over the details and click the blue button “Confirm bid”.

All bidders are protected through the separate YEMBIDS Wallet, where you load your YEM for bidding. While bidding, your bids are calculated, however your YEM never leave your wallet unless you have won the auction. This makes bidding easier, if you are outbid, simply bid again as desired.

All buyers are protected through a verification and receipt of purchase before funds are released to the seller. For your privacy, your PerNum is used wherever possible in place of your personal data and your personal information is only released to the seller to fulfill your auction win.

Click on My Control Panel, then Leave Feedback from the left menu, on this page you will see auctions you have participated in and can leave feedback accordingly.

It depends on how the listing is set up; sellers can choose from 3 options when creating their listing-Seller pays shipping, Buyer pays shipping, or Pickup Only. Please check out the specific auction you are interested in for details.

Yes, buyers pay a flat fee of 1 YEM per won auction. When you win an auction you will see the your winning bid plus the fee deducted from your account.

You can see details about the auctions you won from My Control Panel and the left menu, click Auctions you won for more info.

To send a message to the Seller, click their linked PerNum and then click the contact option from the colored menu. Be sure to contact the Seller to confirm your shipping address, either shipping to yourself or to a gift address. You'll see the option to add a gift address on each auction you win.

Once the Seller has shipped or delivered the item or service to the you and you receive it, click on Mark Received from the Auctions you won page to notify the Seller. 

Remember to pay for your won auction. From My control panel click Wallet to get started. You will see the auctions you won below your wallet balances. YEM spent on won auctions is kept in escrow until either you mark the item as received after it has been shipped or 30 days have past since the close of the auction, whichever happens first. So you can make your payment to the Seller with confidence right after you win the auction.

Please note, you cannot bid on any new auctions until the auctions you have won are paid.
