Bei einer FFP2 Atemschutzmaske handelt es sich um eine Mund-Nasen-Bedeckung, welche mit PP-Vlies und 5-lagigen Hochfiltrationspapier ausgestattet ist.

Das Filterflies hat die Aufgabe die Aerosole in der Luft und somit auch einen großen Teil der darin befindlichen Coronaviren abzufangen. Das bietet dann natürlich nicht nur Schutz für den Träger der Maske, sondern auch für alle anderen Menschen, denen er begegnet.
