This Telescope has been wrapped in the package since it was purchased. Never used just tested for functionality. Everything works well. Comes with a fitted leather case for protection. However; this can also be a nice art piece to sit in a trophy case or antique China cabinet. Very rare design. Need brass oil to keep and maintain shine. Extends from 5" 3/4 inches to 15" 3/4 inches. Great backup telescope or conversation piece. !
