Außer in Badezimmern kann er in jedem Zimmer (bei Fluren ab 10 m sollten 2 Stück verwendet werden) angebracht werden. Bei diesem Modell geht das sogar ohne bohren, mit einer doppelseitig klebbaren Metallplatte (siehe Foto). Dazu einfach Schutzpapier abziehen und für 10 Sekunden mittig auf den Rauchmelder und an die Decke drücken.

Bei geringster Rauch- oder Hitzeentwicklung schlägt der Rauchmelder mit einem Alarmton von über 85 dB(A) (laut innerhalb von 3 Metern) an.
