Ultra rare metal model in 1: 9 scale on the themes of the most famous race in the world, the Paris Dakar. The release date is unknown (1980s) on this model and there is very little information on this article. It is a rare collectible model from the 1980s and is a must for any collector or fanatic.

The kit contains hundreds of high-quality parts, including highly detailed body, engine and chassis, working suspension and chain, rubber tires and cables, plus a decal. There are also many metal parts such as the metal spring. The kit box is still in excellent condition. I also inserted inside the Kit Box, 3 Vials of Color and 1 Tamiya Cement Pen, never used and never opened, so I don't know if they are still in good condition, or if after so many years they have expired, however a gift, they were not part of the Assembly Kit when I bought it. Protar is now closed, the kit is no longer in production and is extremely rare. Very difficult to obtain now.

A highly detailed 1: 9 scale Protar kit, practically New, purchased and never started assembly, all parts are still sealed and cellophane wrapped as the box arrived. The bike is a BMW 1000CC winner of the Paris Dakar with Gaston Rahier in 1984, a fantastic PIECE OF MOTORCYCLING HISTORY. As far as I know, the Kit was present ONLY FROM PROTAR, now it has been out of production for a long time.

Purchased in the 80s directly from the Protar Company, somehow I never managed to build it. This KIT is really worth an economic effort, if you are looking for something substantial and unique to build !!! Have fun to those who win this fantastic kit !!!

I have never opened the cellophane or tried to assemble some pieces of the Kit. The Kit Box and all the pieces that compose it are as good as new, there are no broken or missing pieces and therefore I do not take any responsibility in case of damage in the Transport. The Kit Box will be carefully packed inside a Cardboard Box and shipped via Express Mail.
