English:
This Cook Island silver coin depicting the legendary bounty was first produced in 2009 as a so-called agency issue.
The face value is 1 Cook Islands dollar and was minted as an investment coin for the Cook Islands in Germany until 2013. It is now manufactured in the USA.
The top side of the coin shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The reverse shows the sailing ship Bounty, closely linked to the history of the Cook Islands, known from the legendary novel "The Mutiny on the Bounty". The design of the 2020 edition has changed so that instead of the previously smooth one, there is now a high-quality, modern radial pattern in the background.
Like all Cook Islands investment silver products, the 1 oz silver coin has a high quality embossed design and is a popular investment product.
