Frey Wille stellt Schmuckstücke in einem eigens entwickelten Feueremailverfahren her. Jedes Schmuckstück entsteht größtenteils in Handarbeit.

Frey Wille (proper spelling: "FREYWILLE") is a company that manufactures and distributes enamel jewelry and accessories worldwide. The jewelry collections are designed by artists and are partly freely inspired, partly inspired by works of other artists such as Gustav Klimt or Claude Monet. The company was founded in 1951 at Gumpendorfer Strasse 81 in Vienna, where its headquarters and production facility remain today. The original company name was Wiener Emailmanufaktur Michaela Frey GmbH & Co. KG. In total, the company employs over 550 people.

Frey Wille produces jewelry using a specially developed fire enamel process. Each piece of jewelry is created largely by hand. The heart of each product is the enamel, in which 24 carat gold is processed. In addition, there is the setting, which is available in 18 carat gold with diamonds or 24 carat gold-plated.

Frey, Michaela

Her name is associated with colorful patterns and figural motifs on enameled hinged hoops, necklaces, brooches, earrings and rings. It is a style that first emerged after the death of the company's founder, Michaela Frey, in 1980.

She had founded her enamel workshop in Vienna in 1951. Today, some of the most important collections are called "Homage to Gustav Klimt", "Homage to Claude Monet", "Egypt", "Geometry" or "Modern Art" "Greco Roman Collection"- names that indicate where the inspirations for the designs come from.

The realization of these designs takes place in numerous steps. In about 20 operations, several layers of enamel are first applied, followed by fine gold dust and enamel paint. During several firing processes, the fine gold and the enamel color fuse with the enamel surface of the workpiece. The enamel plates are finally applied to a gold-plated setting or framed by gold. Radiant blue tones and warm earth colors dominate.
